CT Brain Perfusion after Ischaemic Stroke

A patient suspected of stroke immediately underwent a CT brain perfusion examination in our department. Through dynamic assessment of CT contrast, the penumbra was identified in the ischaemic tissue, indicating the potentially salvageable area around the infarct core.  Based on the CT findings and other considerations, doctors promptly administered thrombolytic therapy within the critical treatment window to restore blood flow and minimize brain damage in this stroke patient.
